In addition to God saving you, He will sugar your coco and
butter your bread. God will not fail you, Afriy David says to you. This mid
tempo dance tune sang in English and a bit of the pidgin language brings out
the quality of a good Nigerian Ghanaian root mix. It’s still urban music,
gospel, and the beat will get you bumping your head. The rhythm is nice,
especially the part where Afriy and his backing vocalists sing laa laa la la la
la, la laaaa. No shakara is a song in appreciation to God expressing how He
always keeps to His promises, how He remains incomparable to none. Any challenges,
difficulties you’ve been facing lately? Sing along already because Afriy David
assures you, even before it materializes, that God has never failed and He
isn’t about to. Stand tall, stay bold, confident and say to the enemy in the
face: “No Shakara.”
